MORE ABOUTThe International Institute for Implementing Sustainable Development (MIITR), founded in 2017 in Maribor, Slovenia, is a private NGO specialising in sustainability research and development. Its expertise covers environmental, economic, social, and digital aspects, focusing on innovative learning approaches. The MIITR team has a strong background in economics, environmental science, social sciences, computer science, project management, and dissemination.
MIITR is an active part of the Volunteering Network of Slovenia and serves as a municipal youth centre. It currently leads the “Empowering Young People for Sustainable Personal Development” program, funded by the Municipality of Maribor, providing youth with international experiences and sustainable knowledge.
The institute’s mission revolves around research, education, awareness-raising, and consulting in sustainable development. It emphasises social and green entrepreneurship, social innovation, circular economy, youth inclusion, and contemporary non-formal e-learning to advance society towards sustainability and enhance the quality of life for both youth and adults.OTB Europe

CDE PP not only assists entrepreneurs in project testing and imparts critical training in business management and sector-specific issues but also creates a synergy by pooling expertise among entrepreneurs. In addition, it has developed diverse training materials, such as a platform supporting organic certification for winegrowers, and adheres to the stringent standards of the “AB” (Organic Farming) label. Proudly affiliated with networks like the National Network of Agricultural Test Spaces (RENETA) and the Union of Business Incubators, CDE PP seamlessly blends its innovative training methodology with a widespread influence across France, aiding myriad entrepreneurs in their ventures into sustainable economic activities.

Serving both B2B and B2C segments, MTB meticulously coordinates between public and private sectors to establish a rich and integrated tourism offer involving the promotion, development, and refinement of the region’s tourist infrastructure and offerings. Additionally, MTB orchestrates various cultural events, supports MICE events, and manages bookings for tourist tours, ensuring a vibrant and diverse visitor experience. Operating two Tourist Information Centres provides comprehensive insights into Maribor’s alluring experiences and scenic surroundings. The venerable Old Vine House, under MTB’s purview, not only offers tourist information but also celebrates the world’s oldest vine and serves as a hub for wine culture, providing tastings, guided tours, and hosting events, honouring Maribor’s rich vinicultural heritage.

LEVILO, located in Graz, Austria, is a private non-profit organisation that aims to promote sustainability across different streams such as Circular Economy, Bioeconomy, and Blue Economy. It strives to raise awareness of eco-friendly innovations at local, regional, national, and international levels. With extensive experience in European research programs and projects, LEVILO is known for its knowledge and expertise in collaborating with companies, researchers, and decision-makers. Its target audience includes schools, universities, associations, and companies interested in ecological and sustainability content.
LEVILO is developing e-courses to empower young adults with environmental knowledge and competencies, fostering positive behavioural changes and co-creating a sustainable Europe. We aim to equip the next generation with the skills, knowledge, and self-confidence needed to take responsibility for their life choices and actively create a more sustainable society within EU communities. By identifying gaps in competencies related to environmental protection, we aim to respond to the needs of young adults. LEVILO also seeks to connect them to multicultural and international arenas to network and foster a sustainable identity. Our goal is to create a community of environmentally conscious individuals who work towards a sustainable future for all.
